1. Who is responsible
International Breeds Certificate LTDA ("IBC"), Av. Bandeirantes, 2670, Sala 07, Brigadeiro Tobias, Sorocaba/SP, CEP 18108-000, Brazil, is the controller of your personal data. Contact for privacy matters: info@ibcdogs.org.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: full name (and, optionally, your name in local script), email, password (stored encrypted), country, phone and address.
- Application data: information about your animals (names, breed, sex, color, date of birth, microchip, photos), pedigrees and documents you upload, and information about co-owners or previous owners you provide.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. IBC receives the payment status, amount and the last digits/brand of the card, not the full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, approximate country (used to show the Site in the right language and currency), browser and device data, and cookies.
3. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account and verify new international customers.
- To review applications and issue pedigrees, certificates and Puppy TAGs.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and keep financial and tax records.
- To send service emails (confirmations, application updates, Puppy TAG deadline reminders). You can stop Puppy TAG reminders with the link in each email.
- With your consent, to measure Site usage through Google Analytics.
4. Public registry information
To allow pedigrees to be verified, the animal's registered data and the owner's and breeder's names may appear on the public pedigree database, on certificates and on the verification page. We do not publish your email, phone, address or payment information.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only as needed to provide the Services: Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure providers (Laravel Cloud, Cloudflare), our email provider, Google Analytics (only with consent), and authorities when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfer
IBC is based in Brazil. Your data is processed in Brazil and in the countries where our providers operate, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and appropriate safeguards.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies (sign-in, cart, language and guided-mode preferences) and, only if you accept, analytics cookies. You can change your choice in the cookie banner at any time.
8. How long we keep data
Account data is kept while your account is active. Registry records (pedigrees and their history) are kept permanently, as they form the official registry. Payment and tax records are kept for the period required by law. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to certain uses, by emailing info@ibcdogs.org. Some data cannot be deleted where we must keep it by law or because it is part of the permanent registry; in that case we will explain why. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted passwords and access controls. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.
11. Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy and will publish the new version on the Site with its date.
